25. oktober Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao - Great World CityRealised I have not really posted any food blog lately. Well, that's because I've not been to many extravagant restaurants lately...trying to save as much as I can for my wedding next year you see...sigh.
Without saying, I will order at least one basket of steamed Xiao Long Bao whenever I dine here. The best way to eat is not to poke a hole to drink the "soup" but to put the whole damn dumpling into your mouth and let the "soup" squirt into your throat. Shiok!
But today's highlight was actually the Double boiled Shark's Bone Soup with Wantons (see below). If I remember correctly, this shoud be new on the menu?
Fried Shanghai broad noodles. Like Udon but slightly softer. A nice change from the usual "La Mian".
Ginger soup with rice dumplings - the spicy ginger perks you up right away!
