Been having reunion dinner with my relatives at restaurants for the past few years already and we have concluded that the standard will always drop in terms of food and service. Well, maybe most just can't handle the big crowd & tight time schedules.

 

But that is until yesterday, when we went to the acclaimed Taste Paradise...everything is simply yummy! Let the pictures do the talking!

Check out this new hangout at the new Centrepoint wing, located within Esprit Boutique on level 3.

We were the only people there on a Saturday night. Somehow the other shoppers seem to just pass it by.

Anyway, it's an ideal spot for a private chat.

 

The array of chocolates, confectioneries, ice creams and beverages are all from the Canelé Pâtisserie Chocolaterie by the Les Amis Group, which explains the classy vibes... very luxurious indeed.  

 

Look at the Nutella Chocolate Pie which I ordered. So chocolate-ty, layered with mousse, dark choc and Nutella (of course!).

 

The Iced Honey Lemongrass was refreshing too!

 

Go with a larger group of people so that you get to try a wider variety of the pastries and cakes.

 

Now I'm tempted to visit their main boutique cafe at Robertson Walk...hmmmm. New one opening at Paragon in Feb 2007. Watch out for it!
