    Snack of the week (SOTW)

Yay! I shall have this segment in future called SOTW!

This is a japanese rice ball snack coated with soy sauce, black sesame or red bean. Sold at the fair at Isetan Supermarket. 250g for $7.

    Imperial Treasure Nan Bei

Imperial again! Whatever we order, they always suit my tastebuds...

Had sauteed sliced sea bass with seasonal veg, which tastes more like cod fish...the beef hor fun seems to have shrunk in size but still as yummy. Oops, noticed that many of the dishes have since increased in price. Rising faster than our salaries...eer....mine at least. There was a new waitress and she told us that the walnut appetizer was free of charge when we hesitated whether to have it or not because we were both feeling a bit "heaty". But I was here so many times and it was never FREE...what a joke!

    Wanton Mee

Was hungry one day and chanced upon a more-than-satisfactory wanton mee at this coffeeshop opposite Tiong Bahru Plaza (behind a bus stop). Try it!

    Garuda Padang Cuisine

One of the less well-known restaurant under Tung Lok Group. Serves nice indonesian food at affordable price. Beware the rendang is HOT!
