    Akashi Japanese Restaurant

This Japanese Restaurants boasts of many ala carte dishes (which are a little bit like local tze-char cuisine) which you will not find in other restaurants. Despite that, its Japanese fare still remains very authentic. In fact, this is the first time I've had freshly-grated wasabi with my sashimi! (I don't remember having that even when I was in Japan!)

Its beef sukiyaki stewed with cabbage and enoki mushrooms was satisfying. The pork was very tender and went very well with the special sesame sauce. I had ordered Garlic rice for some carbs, but though fragrant, the chopped garlic was not fine enough.

The prices are on a high side...thank god I had a voucher from my previous visit. FYI, they issue 13% value of your bill in the form of voucher to be used for your return visit.
